The City of Rock Hill Public Works in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1),
hereby gives notice of the City's intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located between I-77 and Dave Lyle Boulevard. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) Case No. 25-04-2994R for a proposed project along Manchester Creek Tributary 1. The City of Rock Hill is proposing to grade the area between I-77 and Dave Lyle to remove soil within the floodplain as part of the project known as Manchester Creek Tributary 1 Improvements.
Once the project has been completed, a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) request should be submitted that will, in part, revise the following flood hazards along Manchester Creek Tributary 1.
1. The floodway will be widened and narrowed from I-77 to Canterbury Glen Lane along Manchester Creek Tributary 1.
2. Base Flood Elevations will increase along Manchester Creek Tributary 1.
3. The Special Flood Hazard Area will increase along Manchester Creek Tributary 1.
