NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING YORK COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the County Council of York County, South Carolina (the "County"), on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the County Council Chambers, York County Government Center located at 6 South Congress Street, York, South Carolina 29745. The purpose of such public hearing is to receive comments regarding ordinances entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF A FEE IN LIEU OF TAX AGREEMENT BY AND AMONG YORK COUNTY, RIVERSTONE LOGISTICS, LLC, AND RIVERSTONE LOGISTICS FREIGHT, LLC (PREVIOUSLY IDENTIFIED AS "PROJECT CROSS"), WHEREBY YORK COUNTY WILL ENTER INTO A FEE IN LIEU OF TAX AGREEMENT WITH SUCH COMPANIES PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF CERTAIN FEES IN LIEU OF AD VALOREM TAXES; PROVIDING FOR SPECIAL SOURCE REVENUE CREDITS; PROVIDING FOR THE ALLOCATION OF FEES IN LIEU OF TAXES PAYABLE UNDER THE AGREEMENT FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A MULTI-COUNTY INDUSTRIAL/BUSINESS PARK; AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO." At the public hearing all taxpayers and residents of the County and other interested persons who appear will be given an opportunity to express their views for or against the ordinance. The ordinance can be reviewed or a copy obtained from the Clerk to the County Council or the County Manager at the County Council Office at 6 South Congress Street, York, South Carolina 29745 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
