NOTICE OF GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION IN THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2025 FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING THE OFFICES OF MAYOR WHO IS ELECTED CITYWIDE, AND TWO CITY COMMISSIONERS WHO ARE TO BE ELECTED FROM SINGLE MEMBER DISTRICTS 3 AND 5 Notice is hereby given that a General Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 7:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. in the City of Miami, Florida, at the polling places in the several election precincts designated by the Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections, at which election the qualified electors participating therein will vote for the following municipal officers: Mayor who is to be elected citywide and two (2) District Commissioners who are to be elected from single member Districts 3 and 5. A Run-Off Election, if required, is to be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Candidate qualifying for the General Municipal Election will be held at the Office of the City Clerk, Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, 33133 starting on Friday, September 5, 2025, and ending on Saturday, September 20, 2025. During this period, the Office of the City Clerk will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., and on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Qualifying fees for the Offices of Mayor and City Commissioner must be paid by a check drawn on the candidate's campaign account and must be signed by the campaign treasurer or deputy treasurer. Qualifying fees are as follows: City Qualifying Fee for Mayor and City Commissioner: $100.00 State Assessment Fee for Mayor: $970.00 State Assessment Fee for City Commissioner: $582.00 While it is not required, it is respectfully requested that all prospective candidates please call, in advance, to set up an appointment for qualifying as a candidate. Appointments can be made by contacting the Office of the City Clerk via email at City-Campaigns@miamigov.com or (305) 250-5361. Voter registration of persons desiring to vote in the General Municipal Election shall be in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Each person desiring to become a registered voter shall be responsible for properly filling out the registration form and submitting it to the Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections. Voters desiring to participate in the General Municipal Election by using a Vote-by-Mail ballot shall cast their Vote-by-Mail ballots in accordance with the provisions of the laws of the State of Florida. Please contact the Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections to ensure that your Vote-By-Mail ballot request has not expired. A request for a Vote-by-Mail ballot to be mailed to a voter must be received by the Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections no later than 5:00 P.M. on the 12th day before the election.
