Summary of Adopted Ordinance On August 19, 2025, at the County Administrative Center, 175 Fulweiler Avenue, Auburn, CA, 95603, the Board of Supervisors adopted an adopted Ordinance 6336-B by a vote of 5:0 Ayes: Landon, DeMattei, Jones, Gustafson, Gore Noes: None to amend the following sections of Placer County Code Chapter 2, Articles 2.08, 2.16, 2.25, 2.28, 2.32, 2.36, 2.82, 2.104, 2.116; Chapter 5, Articles 5.08, 5.12, 5.25; Chapter 8, Articles 8.10, 8.16; Chapter 10, Article 10.12; Chapter 12, Article 12.26; Chapter 13, Article 13.16, Article 13.40; Chapter 15, Articles 15.12, 15.56, 15.60. The ordinance establishes a County Department of General Services and a County Fire Department and amends a portion of the County Code related to the county executive to comply with state law. The ordinance also identifies the roles and responsibilities of each department and references to each department in the noted sections of County Code.
