The Mariposa County Resource Conservation District
(MCRCD) is soliciting bids for Fuels Reduction and Biomass Removal along Big Oak Flat Road in Yosemite National Park (YNP). This project will include mechanical treatments to remove trees <20" diameter, dead and downed trees and woody debris will be removed to reduce densities and prepare for prescribed fire. Biomass will be transported to biomass facilities and documented, and revenue credited to the project budget. Work will be performed under the direction of MCRCD and YNP and funded by a CAL FIRE grant. Grant requirements and YNP requirements must be met in work procedures and reporting.
