THE HIALEAH CITY COUNCIL AT ITS REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING OF AUGUST 26, 2025 APPROVED THE FOLLOWING PROPOSED ORDINANCES ON FIRST READING. SECOND READING AND PUBLIC HEARING FOR FINAL ADOPTION WILL BE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 9, 2025.

ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HIALEAH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF HIALEAH AND CITY OF HIALEAH EDUCATION ACADEMY, INC. ("COHEA") FOR LAND OWNED AND OPERATED BY THE CITY OF HIALEAH, LOCATED AT 2590 WEST 76 STREET, HIALEAH, FLORIDA, FOR A PERIOD NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY (50) YEARS, TOGETHER WITH SUCH RIGHTS AND DUTIES AS MORE FULLY DESCRIBED IN THE LEASE AGREEMENT, A COPY OF WHICH IS ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF AS EXHIBIT "A"; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK, AS ATTESTING WITNESS, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY, TO ENTER INTO THE LEASE AGREEMENT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING PENAL TIES FOR VIOLATION HEREOF; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THE HIALEAH CITY COUNCIL AT ITS REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 9, 2025.
RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HIALEAH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE FINAL DECISION OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD, DECISION NO. 2025-07, ALLOWING AN INTERIOR NORTH SIDE SETBACK OF 4 FEET, WHERE 7.5 FEET ARE REQUIRED, AND TO ALLOW A DISTANCE SEPARATION OF 5.1 FEET FROM THE MAIN STRUCTURE, WHERE 10 FEET IS THE MINIMUM REQUIRED FOR THE LEGALIZATION OF AN EXISTING ACCESSORY BUILDING.
