NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Raleigh City Council has scheduled a public hearing to take place September 2, 2025, consider an appropriation for economic development (under the Business Investment Grant policy) for BuildOps also known as "Project Sergeant". The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 in the Council Chamber, Room 201, Avery C. Upchurch Government Complex, 222 West Hargett Street, Raleigh, North Carolina at 7:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be reached on the agenda. All interested parties are invited to attend the meeting and will be given the opportunity to be heard by signing up to speak in advance at https://raleighnc.gov/public-hearings-city-council no later than 3 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025. This City's consideration of the appropriation is within the authority granted by North Carolina General Statute 158-7.1. Following conclusion of the hearing, the City Council may vote to authorize the City to enter into a grant agreement with BuildOps, or a subsidiary of BuildOps.
