Take notice that a pleading seeking relief against you has been filed in the above-entitled action. The nature of the relief being sought is as follows:
A Declaratory Judgment action for supplemental legal and equitable relief pursuant to North Carolina Gen. Statutes § 1-253 against you as a named Defendant, who knowingly, willfully, and intentionally conspired and agreed to a course of action to defraud Plaintiffs through an illegal scheme in which they leased a rental truck and intentionally crashed it into a target vehicle in order to make an unlawful and fraudulent insurance claim for financial gain.
You are required to make defense to such pleading no later than October 3, 2025, which is no later than forty (40) days after the date of the first publication of notice; and upon your failure to do so the party seeking service against you will apply to the court for the relief sought.
