Notice to Bar Right of Redemption
To: Molly Couch Kimsey, Edith Couch Johnson, Sharon R. Couch, and any and all heirs of Charles O. Couch, Sr, and any and all other interested parties
Please take notice that: The right to redeem the following described property, to-wit:
All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot 79,80 and 81 of the Fourth Land District of Bibb County, Georgia, being Lot Number 42, Block B, of Brookhaven Subdivision, as shown on a plat by Watts & Browning, Engineer, dated February 17, 1947, and recorded in Plat Book 15, Page 114, Clerk's Office, Bibb Superior Court, and being more particularly described as follows:
Said lot beginning at an iron pin on the west side of Bishop Road Two Hundred Thirty Six and seven tenths (236.7) feet from the Southwest corner of the intersection of U. S. Highway 80 and Bishop Road; then running West along the south side of a ten foot alley, a distance of One Hundred Eighty-four (184) feet to an iron pin; then running South along the east side of Lot 7, Block B, a distance of ninety (90) feet to an iron pin; then running East along the north side of Lot 41, Block B, a distance of one hundred eighty-four (184) feet to an iron pin on the west side of Bishop Road; then running North along the West side of Bishop Road a distance of ninety (90) feet to an iron pin, the point of beginning.
This is the same property described in a deed dated March 22, 1976 and recorded in Deed Book 1260, Page 893, Clerk's Office, Bibb Superior Court.
Under the present system of numbering, this property is known as 4429 Bishop Road, Macon, Georgia.
Tax Map/Parcel Number: L084-0111
will expire and be forever foreclosed and barred on and after the October 3, 2025.
The tax deed to which this notice relates is dated the 6th day of August, 2024, and is recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Bibb County, Georgia, in Deed Book 11978, Page 27.
The property may be redeemed at any time before the 3rd day of October, 2025, by payment of the redemption price as fixed and provided by law to the undersigned at the following address:
