TOWN OF BAY HARBOR ISLANDS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – SECOND READING The Town of Bay Harbor Islands proposes to adopt the following Ordinances on second reading and Public Hearing on the Ordinances will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as allowed in the Council Chambers, 1175 95th Street, Community Center, Room 2-3, Bay Harbor Islands, FL 33154, as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF BAY HARBOR ISLANDS, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE TOWN'S CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATED TO THE LAND USES PERMITTED OR PROHIBITED IN THE B-1 BUSINESS DISTRICT; AMENDING SECTION 23- 5 OF THE ZONING AND PLANNING CODE TO MODIFY THE LIST OF PERMITTED USES IN THE B-1 BUSINESS DISTRICT TO INCLUDE AN AUTOMOBILE SHOWROOM FOR DISPLAY AND SALES AND PROVIDING REGULATIONS WITH RESPECT THERETO; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT AND REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF BAY HARBOR ISLANDS, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE TOWN'S ZONING AND PLANNING CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 23- 11 ENTITLED "LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS" RELATED TO SECOND FLOOR BUILDING AREA WAIVERS AND TO ESTABLISH GARAGE AREA LIMITATIONS IN THE RD (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) ZONING DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT AND REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
