CITY OF BURLESON NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED BUDGET NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL INTEREST- ED PERSONS, THAT: The City Council of the City of Burleson, Texas will con- vene a public hearing to hear comments from the pub- lic regarding the proposed annual budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at Burleson City Hall, 141 W. Renfro St, Burleson, Texas, 76028. This budget will raise more to- tal property taxes than last year’s budget by $3,115,704, which is a 7.38 percent increase, and of that amount $873,089 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year. A copy of the proposed annual budget is on file with the City Secretary for public review and inspection. The City Secretary’s office is located at Burleson City Hall, 141 W. Renfro St, Burleson, Texas, 76028, and is generally open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, un- less closed for holidays.
