Public Notice
TOCE SC Solar I, LLC ("TOCE Solar") is making an application to the Public Service Commission of South Carolina on or about August 29, 2025, for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Convenience and Necessity for the construction and operation of a 170 MW solar photovoltaic generating facility (the "Project") on an undeveloped site located in Sumter County, South Carolina, located 12 miles northwest of the City of Sumter near Borden Road and Black River Road. This application is being made in accordance with the Code of Laws of South Carolina 1976, Chapter 33, Title 58, as amended, entitled the "Utility Facility Siting and Environmental Protection Act."
Once filed, a copy of TOCE Solar's application can be found on the Commission's website at www.psc.sc.gov. Additionally, the application will be available for public review at the following location:
