NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF ARLINGTON, TEXAS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of Arlington, Texas, will hold a public hearing on SEPTEMBER 16, 2025, at 6:30 PM, in the CITY COUNCIL CHAMBER OF CITY HALL, 101 W. ABRAM STREET, ARLINGTON, TX 76010. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider the proposed abandonment of cemetery plots believed to be unowned and located at ARLINGTON CEMETERY, 801 MARY STREET, ARLINGTON, TX 76010. A list of all plots to be considered is available at City Hall or online at www.arlingtontx.gov/cemetery. After the public hearing and upon declaration that cemetery plots are presumed abandoned, burial rights for such plots will be available for sale to new owners. If someone believes they have ownership rights to a plot that is on the abandonment list for consideration, those individuals may submit relevant documentation of ownership to the City before the Public Hearing on September 16, 2025.
