Public Notice NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON AMENDED ALLOCATION OF HOME AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN (ARP) FUNDS The Housing Committee of the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at or after 2:00 PM. Subsequently, the actions described below will be considered for final action by the BCC on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at or after 9:30 AM. Both meetings will be held inside Board of County Commission Chambers located on the second level of the Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW 1st Street, Miami, Florida 33128. The purpose of the hearing is to allow the public an opportunity to comment on a HOME American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) funding adjustment in the amount of an additional $26,578.00. In 2021, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) allocated $17,686,235.00 of HOME-ARP funds to the County. HUD recently discovered an administrative error in the allocation of the HOME-ARP funds, which resulted in the County being allocated $26,578.00 less of HOME-ARP funds than it was legally entitled to receive. On May 24, 2025, HUD sent a letter notifying Housing and Community Development (HCD) of the corrected amount.
