NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The public is put on notice that the Town of Huntersville will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 6:00 PM on the following petitions. These public hearings will be held in person at Huntersville Town Hall located at 101 Huntersville-Concord Road Huntersville NC 28078. View-only live stream options are available and will be indicated on the meeting agenda published one week prior to the meeting.
Petition #R25-08, a request by Jay Henson to rezone +/- 4.799 acres located at 204 N Church Street (PIN 01903302, 01903310, 01903306, 01903315, 01902136, 01902137, 01902138, 01902126, 01902133, 01902128, 01902129, 01902135, 01902134, 01902125, 01902124) from Neighborhood Residential to Neighborhood Residential with a Conditional District for an Apartment and Townhomes.
Petition #R25-09, a request by Greenway Waste Solutions at North Meck to rezone +/- 220.9 acres near 15300 Holbrooks Road (PIN 01910102, 01930106, 01910116, 01910113, 01910119, 01910101, 01910107, 01910109, 01934118) from NR, TR, CB, and SP-CD to SP-CD to expand the North Meck Landfill.
Petition R25-11 Long Creek Retail, a request by TA and S Enterprises of NC Inc to rezone 4.396 acres at the intersection of Mt.Holly-Huntersville Road and Beatties Ford Road PINs(01526434 & 01526435) from Highway Commercial-Conditional District to Highway Commercial-Conditional District and Rural for a gas station and retail development.
