NOTICE FOR BIDS North Oak Village CID (CID) is seeking separate, sealed bids endorsed "North Oak Village Shopping Center", addressed to the property manager, R.H. Johnson Co., will be received until 3:00 PM, Prevailing Local Time, on August 25, 2025, at the offices of R.H. Johnson Co., Att: Jenny Johnson, 4520 Madison Avenue, Suite 300, Kansas City, MO 64111, jjohnson@rhjohnson.com, and at that time will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bid received after such time and date may not be considered. The work Is located at the North Oak Village Shopping Center at the northeast corner of the intersection of NE Vivion Rd. and N Oak Trfwy. In Kansas City, Clay County, MO. The scope of work includes: (1) maintenance to NE 50th Way to Include a road overlay as follows: (a) all labor, materials and equipment to remove and replace 8-inch concrete approach (Approx 600SF), (b) mill specified area (Approx 85,235SF) to a depth of approximately 2" and clean area in preparation for installation of hot mix asphaltic concrete, and (c) restripe back to existing layout; and (2) maintenance to two stormwater detention areas, including: removal of debris, volunteer trees, excess cat tails and other vegetation. A contractor may submit a bid for only one scope of work or separate bids for both scopes of work. Before bid opening, each Bidder shall provide as part of their bid (a) evidence of full insurance coverage for commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and employers' liability, and (b) an affidavit affirming the bidder's enrollment and participation in a federal work authorization program in accordance with Sec. 285.530, RSMo. CID reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, to advertise for new bids, to determine the lowest and best bid and to award the contract on that basis.
