CITY OF ROCK HILL PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY OF ROCK HILL ZONING ORDINANCE The City of Rock Hill Planning Commission will hold a public hearing and consider recommendations to City Council on proposed amendments to the City of Rock Hill Zoning Ordinance at their meeting on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 155 Johnston Street. The proposed amendments to be heard and considered for recommendation to City Council are: MAP AMENDMENTS M-2025-13 Petition by Kristen and Michael Sloan to rezone approximately 12.14 acres at 3263 Homestead Rd. from Single Family-5 (SF-5) to Rural (RU). Tax Parcel 590-04-01-001. TEXT AMENDMENTS T-2025-01 Petition by the Rock Hill City Council to amend or eliminate the Design Overlay District (DOD) standards and properties included within the district. T-2025-02 Petition by the Rock Hill City Council to amend the Zoning Ordinance affecting Chapter 10: Nonconformities, in relation to nonconforming sites and residential-to-commercial conversions.
