Garner Police Department Notice of Unclaimed Property Notice of Sale/Disposition Pursuant to NC General Statute, Chapter 15, Sections 11-16, notice is hereby given that on or about August 20, 2025, the Garner Police Department has in its possession various unclaimed property to include but not limited to: clothing, backpacks, bags, electronics, cell phones, wallets/purses, knives, bicycles, lawnmower, tools, golf clubs and other miscellaneous items which have been held for more than one hundred eighty days (180) days as required by law. Any person who may have a claim in this property must report that claim to the Garner Police Department within thirty (30) days of this notice and no later than September 20, 2025. Unclaimed property may be sold at public auction, forfeited, donated to a charitable organization or otherwise disposed of after September 20, 2025.
