REQUEST FOR CONSULTING SERVICES: Regional Long Range Transportation Plan The Central Midlands Council of Governments (CMCOG) in coordination and cooperation with its member governments and the South Carolina Department of Transportation will perform an update to the Regional Long Range Transportation Plan and Regional Travel Demand Model. Responders to the RFP must demonstrate significant planning and technical expertise, a strong knowledge of federal, state and regional requirements, economic development, and land use strategic & scenario planning capabilities for the preparation of a Regional Long Range Transportation Plan and the development/update of the Regional Travel Demand Model. The 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) will be a 25-year plan that provides a list of future multi-modal transportation needs for the urban and rural areas of the Central Midlands region.
