On August 5, 2025, at the
Board Chambers located at 175 Fulweiler Avenue, Auburn, CA 95603, the Placer County Board of Supervisors adopted an Ordinance 6328-B by a vote of 5:0 Ayes: Landon, DeMattei, Jones, Gustafson, Gore Noes: None to adjust compensation and benefits for employees represented by the Placer Public Employees Organization. The ordinance proposes general wage increases of 4% effective the first pay period following adoption, 3% with a pay date of July 10, 2026, and 3% with a pay date of July 9, 2027. Additionally, the ordinance has a salary adjustment of 5% to the classifications in the General and Professional Units, Miscellaneous CalPERS Retirement Plan, a salary adjustment of 3.5% for classifications in the General and Professional Units, Safety CalPERS Retirement Plan, and the elimination of the Cafeteria Plan contribution. The ordinance also includes provisions for an equity adjustment for Bus Drivers I/II, a TART retention bonus, and increases the payment to employees who opt out of health coverage to $165 per pay period.
