On August 5, 2025, at the County Administrative Center, 175 Fulweiler Avenue, Auburn, CA 95603, the Board of Supervisors adopted an ordinance 6335-B by a vote of 5:0 Ayes: Landon, DeMattei, Jones, Gustafson, Gore Noes: None to approve the application for the designation of the Colfax Lime Kiln and Pritchard Quarry site, located on property identified as Assessor's Parcel Numbers 100-190-002-000 and 100-190-006-000, located off Ben Taylor Road, approximately three miles past Colfax High School, on the east side of the Bear River, in the unincorporated Colfax area, as a cultural and historic resource and its inclusion in the County of Placer's Official Register of Cultural and Historic Resources.
