On August 5, 2025, at the Board Chambers located at 175 Fulweiler Avenue, Auburn, CA 95603, the Placer County Board of Supervisors adopted an Ordinance 6331-B by a vote of 5:0 Ayes: Landon, DeMattei, Jones, Gustafson, Gore Noes: None implementing salary and benefit adjustments for all elected department heads. The ordinance proposes general wage increases of 4.5% effective the first full pay period following adoption, 3.5% with a pay date of July 10, 2026, and 3.5% with a pay date of July 9, 2027. The ordinance also includes provisions for an increased county match of up to $5,000 to employee 401(k) accounts per calendar year and increases the payment to employees who opt out of health coverage to $165 per pay period.
