NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND COMMENT PERIOD FOR DRAFT CITY AND COUNTY 2026 ONE-YEAR ACTION PLANS AND
PREVIOUS YEARS' ACTION PLANS
Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency 801 12th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814 (916) 440-1302. The drafts for federally funded activities are available for public review for 30-days (9/1/2025 to 10/1/2025). 1. City of Sacramento 2026 One-Year Action Plan, including amendments to previous years' Action Plans 2. County of Sacramento 2026 One-Year Action Plan, including amendments to previous years' Action Plans. The draft City of Sacramento and County of Sacramento 2026 One-Year Action Plans for federally funded projects are available for public comment. The Action Plans appropriate Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The One-Year Action Plans are budget appropriation documents and may include reprogramming of funds appropriated in previous years and amending previously approved project descriptions. The projects are subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) before the projects are approved for implementation. Appropriations will be made for projects under the following categories:
• Infrastructure and public facility improvements
• Housing development, preservation, and homeownership projects and programs
• Homeless, fair housing, and public service programs
• Grant planning and administration activities
• The draft Action Plans will be available on or before Monday, September 1, 2025, in one of two ways:
• Request copies by contacting the agency at (916) 440-1302.
• Online at the SHRA website on the Federal Entitlement Programs and Annual Plan and Report section, under Annual Action Plans, at the following web address: https://www.shra.org/financial-performance-and-strategic-planning-documents/
• A public hearing will be held in person by the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Commission at the following location, date and time: Wednesday, October 1, 2025, 4:30 p.m.or as soon as item can be heard. In Person: 801 12 th Street, 2 nd Floor Commission Room, Sacramento, CA 95814 The meeting agenda will be posted by September 25, 2025. Verify location of meeting on meeting agenda. Members of the public who wish to make comments can do so in a variety of ways including:
• Attend the meeting in person.
