PUBLIC NOTICE Pursuant to RCW 43.21.C and WAC 197-11, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on August 5, 2025, City of Lacey Department of Community & Economic Development issued a determination of nonsignificance relative to the environmental impact of the following described proposal: Application #25-0246: The City of Lacey Public Works Department is proposing to convert an existing portion of 16-inch water to a different pressure zone, and replace existing water main on Spruce St SE, 8th Ave, and 9th Ave. This project also includes installation of approximately 1,600 linear feet (lf) of 16-inch water main necessary to connect one Madrona well to the City's 337 Pressure Zone and the replacement of approximately 1,900 lf of 12-inch water main, 12-inch associated valves, 7 fire hydrants, and 30 service connections on Spruce Street, 8th Avenue, and 9th Avenue. The project may include a service line crossing under Pacific Avenue to connect the 400 Pressure Zone to a single existing water connection (parcel no. 11824220301). The lead agency for this proposal has determined that it does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public upon request.
