& INVITATION FOR BIDS The City of Hialeah, Florida, will receive electronic (sealed) bids for the project entitled: SHIP PROGRAM – MARIA CHICON until Tuesday, September 11, 2025, via the City’s e-Procurement Portal located at https:://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cityofhialeahfl. The responses must be submitted electronically in the manner specified below in the electronic submittal method described below and in no other manner. Bids submitted in any other manner will not be considered.
SHIP PROGRAM – MARIA CHICON BID #2024-25-044
Contract documents, including drawings, technical specifications, addendums, and proposal forms may be obtained on the City’s e-Procurement Portal located at https:// procurement.opengov.com/portal/cityofhialeahfl The Housing and Community Services Department is seeking experienced and qualified contractors for the Maria Chicon property at 870 SE 5th Place, Hialeah, FL 33010. The scope of work includes replacing windows and doors, replacing the damaged metal structure of the porch, painting the house exterior, repairing the trellis plastic cover, and re-caulking the two-bathroom shower floors. We are looking for contractors who demonstrate expertise, financial stability, and a proven track record in similar projects. The selected vendor must be fully licensed in the State of Florida and capable of delivering high-quality results within the established timeline and budget. Each Response must be submitted electronically via the City’s e-Procurement Portal located at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cityofhialeahfl no later than the date and time specified below. Bids received after said date and time will not be considered and no time extensions will be granted.

Attention to all contractors this is a Federal and/or State-funded project and the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their age, race, creed, color, religion, sex, disability, national origin, or familial status. The City of Hialeah reserves the right to reject any and all responses, and to decide to re- advertise/re-bid or not, or to waive any informalities or minor irregularities, technicalities, or omissions, in the solicitation process. Responses may be held over by the City of Hialeah Purchasing Division, at its sole discretion, for a period not to exceed one hundred eighty (180) days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the responses and investigating the qualifications of the respondents, prior to consideration of the awarding of the contract and must be honored by the Vendor on the same terms and conditions during this period.
Please be advised that this Solicitation is issued subject to the City of Hialeah’s Charter and Code of Ordinances. and the Miami-Dade County “Cone of Silence”, see 2-11.1(t), Miami-Dade County Code, which are deemed as being incorporated by reference in this IFB. Communications with the Mayor, City Council, and City Staff are restricted.
