CITY OF LAKE WORTH PROPOSED BUDGET FY 2025-2026 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The City of Lake Worth City Council will hold a Public Hearing at the City Council meeting on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 3805 Adam Grubb, Lake Worth, Texas 76135 regarding the Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026. This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year's budget by $292,591 or 7.89%, and of that amount, $11,555 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year. All interested citizens in the City of Lake Worth are encouraged to attend and participate in the hearing. The proposed budget is available for inspection in the office of the City Secretary at City Hall between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and on the City's website at www.lakeworthtx.org.
