CITY OF BELLINGHAM NOTICE TO BIDDERS Bid No.12B-2025 Sealed proposals for the construction of the POST POINT RESOURCE RECOVERY PLANT EMERGENCY GENERATOR REPLACEMENT EU188 project, will be received by the City of Bellingham, 210 Lottie Street, Bellingham, Washington, 98225 at the Purchasing Office until September 10th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., and thereafter will be publicly opened and read. The improvement consists of: Removal of two existing diesel standby generators and paralleling switchgear which will be replaced with new similarly sized generators and new switchgear. The existing generators are each rated at 1,250 (kW) and are located within the City's existing generator building at the City's Post Point Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) facility. The existing exhaust systems, wiring, and other appurtenances will be removed along with the generators. The project includes temporary removal and replacement of the existing louver and damper setup to accommodate generator removal and replacement. New exhaust systems, wiring and any appurtenances needed to install the new 1,250 (kW) generators will be required.
