Bid ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Modesto, in the County of Stanislaus, State of California, will receive bids for the following work: 2025 PLAYGROUND REPLACEMENT PROJECT This project is listed on the OpenGov Procurement Portal under "Bid Opportunities" on the City's website, http://www.modestogov.com/257/Contracting-Bid-Opportunities. THE PAYMENT OF PREVAILING WAGES IS REQUIRED ON THIS PROJECT. The successful Contractor will be required to obtain a business license from the City of Modesto and pay related fees and taxes. The successful bidder must possess a valid Class "A", Class "B", or Class "C61/D34" California Contractor's License at the time of the award of this contract, to complete the Work as described. Each bid shall be made out on the Bid Form available through the OpenGov Procurement Portal and shall be accompanied by a bid security for not less than 10 percent of the amount of the bid, made payable to the order of the City Clerk, City of Modesto, California. Each bid shall also be accompanied by an executed Local Hire Certification and Skilled and Trained Workforce Certification in accordance with Articles 7 and 8 of Chapter 3 of the Modesto Municipal Code.
