PUBLIC NOTICE LEASE OF COUNTY PROPERTY Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 160A, including but not limited to the provisions of NCGS 160A-272 of the North Carolina General Statutes, the Board of County Commissioners of Orange County intends to vote on whether to lease to IFC Homestart the property located at 2505 Homestead Road in Chapel Hill, NC. The lease renewal covers 3 acres of land area on the same parcel as the Orange County Seymour Center and Southern Human Services Building. The lease will be for a five-year term at $1.00 a year, with the option for one five-year renewal, pending a written agreement from both parties. All persons interested in this lease are invited to attend the Orange County Board of County Commissioners meeting at the Whitted Building, 300 W Tryon Street, Hillsborough NC at 7:00 p.m. on September 4th, 2025.
