NOTICE TO BIDDERS RFB # 25-080 Sealed proposals will be received by Wake County Procurement Services, in Suite 2900, Wake County Justice Center, 301 McDowell Street, Raleigh, NC 27601, up to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for providing labor, material and equipment entering into the construction of Wake County Government East R Library Mechanical Replacement Project, located at 946 Steeple Square Ct, Knightdale, NC 27545. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the project site located at 946 Steeple Square Ct, Knightdale NC. Bidders shall meet at the library main entrance and will be directed to the meeting location. The General Project Scope is as follows: Removal and replacement of three (3) existing air handling units (AHUs).Removal and replacement of six (6) existing fan-powered terminal units (FPTUs).Replacement of the existing heating hot water boiler and its associated pumps.Installation of controls system for the replacement AHUs, FPTUs, and the new hot water heating system.Integration of the existing air-cooled chiller, chilled water pump, and associated components into the new building automation system (BAS).Partial replacement of existing heating hot water piping.
