TOWN OF BAY HARBOR ISLANDS NOTICE OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING Please take notice that on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at approximately 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter, the Town Council of the Town of Bay Harbor Islands will hold a Zoom/Hybrid Regular Council Meeting where a quorum of the Town Council will be physically present, at Morris N. Broad Community Center, 1175 95th Street, Bay Harbor Islands, Florida. During this meeting the proposed ordinance (s) with the title (s) stated below will be considered for enactment on second reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF BAY HARBOR ISLANDS, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE TOWN OF BAY HARBOR ISLANDS CODE OF ORDINANCES TO AMEND CHAPTER 7½ ENTITLED FLOOD DAMAGE PREVENTION; TO CLARIFY THAT MANUFACTURED HOMES AND RECREATIONAL VEHICLES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS; TO ADD REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION IN COASTAL HIGH HAZARD AREAS (V ZONES); TO ADOPT LOCAL AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES; PROVIDING FOR APPLICABILITY; PROVING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT AND REPEALER; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF BAY HARBOR ISLANDS, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE TOWN'S ZONING AND PLANNING CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 23-11 ENTITLED "LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS" RELATED TO SECOND FLOOR BUILDING AREA WAIVERS AND TO ESTABLISH GARAGE AREA LIMITATIONS IN THE RD (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) ZONING DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT AND REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
