NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE CITY
OF ANNA MARIA PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD AND
CITY COMMISSION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Anna Maria Planning and Zoning Board will hold public hearings on August 20, 2025 at 9:00 A.M., and the City of Anna Maria City Commission will hold a public hearing on September 11, 2025 at 5:01 P.M. or as soon thereafter as may be heard. The hearings will be at City Hall of the City of Anna Maria, 10005 Gulf Drive, Anna Maria, Florida 34216, to consider:
1. A request for a variance to the 7-ft side setback requirement for the existing structures located at 102/104 Tuna Street.
2. A request for a variance to the 20-ft setback requirement from the centerline of a canal to rebuild a dock at the property located at 239 Willow Ave.
3. A request for site plan approval for a paid parking lot for the property located at 9806 Gulf Drive.
All interested parties may appear at the meeting or utilize optional attendance by telecommunications media and be heard regarding this request.
For additional information contact the Anna Maria Building Department. Copies of the proposed requests are on file at the City of Anna Maria City Hall, Building Department and may be reviewed by the public between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the board, agency, or commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
