REQUEST FOR BIDS
RIDENBAUGH CANAL HEADWORKS MODERNIZATION PROJECT for the Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District (NMID). RSCI is the Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM/GC) hereby requesting Subcontractor and Supplier Bid Proposals from licensed Idaho public works contractors for the above project including but not limited to Minority Business Enterprise, Women Business Enterprise, Veteran Business Enterprise, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise firms. This is a canal headworks improvement project to replace aging components of the Ridenbaugh headworks and utilize modern technology to secure the long-term delivery of water through the Ridenbaugh Canal, improve operations and maintenance, and minimize safety risks to NMID staff. The project includes a new Crest Gate Structure, Ogee Wier, and Intake Canal with Screens and associated improvements, appurtenances, and supporting electrical and controls systems.
Bid Packages include: Sitework, Cofferdams, Water Control, Sheet Piling, Soil Nail Wall, Structural Concrete, Pre-Engineered Catwalk, Structural & Misc Steel, Equipment Installations, Electrical.
This project includes federal funding through a WaterSMART Grant from the Bureau of Reclamation. Special Federal Conditions apply to this project including those imposed by the Build American, Buy America (BABA) Act.

Sealed Bid Proposals identifying the Ridenbaugh Canal Headworks Modernization Project shall be submitted via email to Bids@NMID.org and must be RECEIVED NOT LATER THAN 10:00 A.M. (local time) on August 27, 2025. Bids received after the date and time set for receipt will be REJECTED. Facsimile and Hard Copy Proposals will NOT be accepted. Emailed Bid Proposals will be opened electronically and read publicly at 1503 1st Street South, Nampa ID 83651. A video conference link will also be provided in advance of the bid opening for remote attendance.
