CITY OF LAKE WORTH NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT PLANNING & ZONING CASE #PZ-2025-23 The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Lake Worth, Texas, will conduct the first of two public hearings at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the Lake Worth City Council Chambers, 3805 Adam Grubb, Lake Worth, Texas 76135 to hear public comment and consider recommendations to the City Council regarding an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1169 the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Lake Worth by amending Article 14.03 "Definitions", Section 14.03.002 to add the following definitions: Donation Box, and Front Side and amend the following definition: Person; by amending Article 14.04 "Districts, Land Uses, and Nonconforming Uses, Section 14.04.003 "Table of Uses" to add the use "Donation Boxes", adding the permitted and prohibited zoning districts in which they are allowed; and by adding Section 14.06.022, titled "Donation Boxes" and setting provisions for such. The City Council will conduct a second Public Hearing at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Lake Worth City Council Chambers, 3805 Adam Grubb, Lake Worth, Texas 76135 to hear public comment and consider the same.
