NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ASSET DISPOSAL
VALLEY REGIONAL TRANSIT
Valley Regional Transit (VRT), the regional public transit authority for Ada and Canyon counties, intends to donate, sell or scrap buses, service and support vehicles, and office equipment. The vehicles will be beyond their useful life and no longer of use for any VRT programs or too costly to maintain to keep in service. Other items are obsolete or not required for current operations.
Notice is hereby given that public comment is being sought regarding the disposition of these assets. The Valley Regional Transit Board of Directors will meet at 12 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2025 at the VRT administrative offices, 700 NE 2nd St. in Meridian. If you cannot attend the Board meeting in person, but want to provide comment remotely, you can use the following link: . The public hearing will be held at 12 p.m., or as soon as possible thereafter.
People are welcome to make comments during the public hearing, limiting their comments to no more than three (3) minutes.
