NOTICE OF 30-DAY COMMENT PERIOD & PUBLIC HEARING ON
PROPOSED SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENTS TO
2018 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Richland County, South Carolina will conduct a public hearing on a proposed Substantial Amendment to the 2018 Annual Action Plan (AAP). This plan guides the County's investment of Fiscal Year 2018 funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Said public hearing will be held at the following date, time and place:

The proposed Substantial Amendment to the 2018 Annual Action Plan reallocates $100,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from a cancelled 2018 Public Facility Improvement project to eligible Public Facility Improvement projects in unincorporated Richland County.
The detailed Substantial Amendment will be available for public review and comment for a 30-Day Period that commences on Saturday, July 26, 2025 and closes on Monday, August 25, 2025. The proposed Substantial Amendment will be on display in the Richland County Community Development Office in the Richland County Administration Building, 2020 Hampton Street, Suite 3058, Columbia, SC 29204. To provide comments on the proposed Substantial Amendment, please attend the Public Hearing on August 12th or contact Callison Richardson at (803) 576-2230 or richardson.callison@richlandcountysc.gov. A summary of all comments received during the public comment period, as well as at the public hearing, will be incorporated into the final documents for submission to HUD. All Substantial Amendments must receive final approval by Richland County Council and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
