Public Notice Barrier Island Marine Contractors, LLC has applied to the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services Bureau of Coastal Management for a permit to remove and reconstruct a private use dock. The reconstructed dock with consist of a 4'x160' walkway with handrails leading to a 20'x25' fixed pierhead. A 16'x16' portion of the pierhead will be covered by a roof. Channel-ward of the fixed pierhead, there will be a 3'x25' ramp leading to a 10'x40' floating dock. On the flood side of the floating dock, there will be a 12'x12' boatlift. The purpose of the proposed project is for private, recreational use at 113 Bridge Street located on the May Rivers.
