NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING In accordance with Section 12-8-24(d) of the Georgia Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Act, as amended, Columbus Consolidated Government will hold a public hearing regarding the issuance of a Solid Waste Handling Permit for a solid waste disposal operation known as the Columbus Consolidated Government Pine Grove Municipal Solid Waste Landfill located at 7900 Pine Grove Way, Columbus, Georgia 31907. The purpose of the meeting is to receive citizen input on the proposed modifications and vertical expansion to the municipal solid waste landfill. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Classroom of the Columbus Recycling & Sustainability Center located at 8001 Pine Grove Way, Columbus, Georgia 31907.
