ANNOUNCEMENT The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida announces the First Budget Public Hearing, in accordance with Florida law and Board Policies, to which all persons are invited: July 30, 2025 6:00 P.M. School Board Auditorium 1450 N.E. Second Avenue Miami, Florida 33132 PURPOSE: To conduct the First Public Hearing on the proposed 2025-2026 property tax millage rate and budget. A copy of the agenda will be available by 4:00 p.m., July 23, 2025, Citizen Information Center, Room 102, 1450 N.E. Second Avenue. The agenda can be viewed by accessing the website https://www3.dadeschools.net/SchoolBoard/ under the Published Agendas link in the navigation on the left side of the page. A copy of the agenda will also be available at Citizen Information Center, Room 102, 1450 N.E. Second Avenue. For further information, telephone 305-995-1128. PERSONS WISHING TO SPEAK at the First Budget Public Hearing should submit a written request to the Superintendent of Schools, 1450 N.E. Second Avenue, Room 102, Miami, Florida 33132 or at via-email request4appearance@dadeschools.net, NO LATER THAN 12:00 P.M., TUESDAY, JULY 29, 2025. A person wishing to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting (hearing) should ensure the preparation of a verbatim record of the proceedings, including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. In accordance with §§ 200.065 and 1011.03, Florida Statutes, a more detailed advertisement will be published prior to the public hearing. Dr. Jose L.
