VEHICLE SERVICE PIT UPGRADES

Ben Franklin Transit, a municipal corporation of the State of Washington, located at 1000 Columbia Park Trail, Richland, WA 99352 is soliciting electronic or hard copy proposals from qualified firms to provide bids for BFT. Proposals are due no later than August 21st, 2025, at 1:30 PM (PDT).
Interested Contractors shall create a FREE account with Procure Now by signing up at. https://secure.procurenow.com/signup. Once you have completed account registration, browse back to https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/bft, click on "Submit Response", and follow the instructions to submit the electronic bid.
A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 29th, 2025, at 01:00 PM (PDT), located at 1038 Columbia Part Trail, Richland, WA 99532. Contractors are to meet in the BFT Administrative Building lobby to sign in for the meeting. Please bring safety vests to meeting as we will view the worksite.
All questions and clarifications must be submitted via BFT's Free e-Procurement Portal by 2:00 PM (PDT) on August 6th, 2025. Contractors who choose not to use the e-Procurement Portal must email all questions or clarifications to the Contract Specialist.

WISHA and OSHA Regulations
The contractor agrees to abide by all laws, rules and regulations promulgated by the United States of America, the State of Washington, or any agencies or subdivisions thereof, specifically including WISHA and OSHA regulations currently in effect at time IFB due date and during the agreement term.
Bid Security
All bids shall be accompanied by a suitable bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid amount. Suitable security shall mean cash, cashier's check, or bond from a firm licensed to do business in the State of Washington.
Protest Procedure Policy
BFT's protest procedure policy can be obtained by contacting BFT's Procurement Director at the above address or phone number. Contractors who can demonstrate substantial economic interest may protest BFT's decision regarding a provision of the IFB or Award.
BFT reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, to waive informalities and minor irregularities in quotes received with any contractor, and to accept quotes which are considered to be in the best interest of BFT. Contractors will be required to follow all Federal, State, and Local rules and regulations.
