CITY OF LIVINGSTON NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed proposals for the work shown on the plans entitled: Supply of Greensand Filtration Equipment, will be received at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Livingston, 1416 C Street Livingston, CA 95334 until 2:00 p.m. (PDT) on August 6, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The major work consists of supplying greensand filtration equipment for the removal of arsenic, iron, and manganese from the City's groundwater. The equipment to be delivered to the City of Livingston Well No. 8 site located at 701 N. Main Street, Livingston, CA. The time for delivery is two hundred twenty (220) calendar days after receiving a purchase order from the City. This contract is subject to state contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code, Section 12990. Each proposal shall be accompanied by cashier's or certified check, or by an original bidder's bond, made payable to the City of Livingston and executed as surety by some corporation authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of California, for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of said bid and no bid shall be considered unless such cashier's or certified check, or an original bidder's bond in enclosed therewith.
