Public Notice This is to inform the public of the opportunity to attend a public hearing on the proposed SFY 2025-2026 Section 5310, Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program Application to be submitted to the South Carolina Department of Transportation no later than July 25, 2025. Those interested in attending a public hearing on this application should contact Allan Cornell, Executive Director on or before July 22, 2025. The public hearing will be held on July 23, 2025 at 250 Victory Lane, Conway, SC 29526. The Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program provides capital assistance for transportation options and services for the communities operating in Horry county. These services are currently provided using wheelchair equipped vans. Services are rendered by Horry County Disabilities and Special Needs dba Ability Beyond Barriers. The total estimated amount requested for the period July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2027 is $86,575.90 with a $15,278.10 match by Horry County Disabilities and Special Needs dba Ability Beyond Barriers.
