The name on the bid must match the name listed on the Idaho Public Works License referenced in the bid. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for receipt of bids unless the award of contract is delayed for a period exceeding (30) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality or irregularity and award a contract that is in the best interest of the Independent School District of Boise City #1. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Cashier's Check from an Idaho bank or Bid Bond with an Idaho State Licensed Surety Company as surety, in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid, made payable to the Independent School District of Boise City. This security shall be forfeited by the low bidder in event of failure to sign a contract or furnish the required Payment and Performance Bonds. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount or 100% of the contract amount will be required within 10 days after receipt of the properly prepared Agreement between the Owner and Contractor. Costs for bonds shall be included in the Contractors bid amount.
