WHATCOM COUNTY NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR AN ADMINISTRATIVE USE Notice is hereby given that on February 13, 2025, Rourke McDermott applied for an Administrative Use permit under case number ADM2025-00008 to construct a 2,700 square foot single-family residence with attached deck and a 640 square foot gravel parking area using the Administrative/Reasonable Use process per WCC 16.16.270. The existing 784 square foot manufactured single-family residence is proposed to be removed from the subject property. The project requires a reasonable use determination due to unavoidable impacts to wetland buffers per WCC Title 16. The subject parcel is approximately 0.37 acres in size, is proposed to be served by an on-site sewage system, and Whatcom County Water District #2. The application was determined complete on February 25, 2025, indicating that all submittal requirements were met. The subject property is located at 3864 Griffith Ave within Section 16, Township 38N, Range 02E of W.M. Assessor's parcel number: 3802163142080000. The application will be reviewed under the Official Whatcom County Zoning and Critical Areas Ordinances, as well as reviews by Whatcom County Planning and Development Services (Fire Marshal's Office, Natural Resources and Planning), Public Works Engineering and Health Department.
