ACTION: Notice of Availability
SUMMARY: This notice is to advise interested parties that the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) as lead federal agency, with the Nisqually Indian Trie has prepared a Final Environmental Assessment (EA) and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the proposed action located in, Lacey, Washington. This notice also announces the Final EA and FONSI are now available electronically and in hard copy at the addresses below.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: The project consists of the acquisition by the BIA of a 174-acre property (Project Site) into Federal trust status for the benefit of the Nisqually Indian Tribe (Tribe), and the subsequent development by the Tribe of a mixed-use development with residential and commercial uses and associated parking and infrastructure. The Project Site consists of eight parcels (Assessor Parcel Numbers 11811210200, 11810101101, 11810101103, 11810101000, 11811201000, 11811210402, 11811210400, 11811210404) currently owned in fee by the Tribe and is located within the boundaries of the City of Lacey, in Thurston County, Washington directly north of Interstate 5 (I-5), and west of the Marvin Road / I-5 interchange. The Project Site is located within Sections 10 and 11, Township 18 North, Range 1 West, Willamette Meridian, Washington.
AUTHORITY: This notice is published pursuant to 43 CFR 46.305 of the Department of Interior Regulations (43 CFR 46 et seq.), the procedural requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended (42 U.S.C. 4371 et seq.), and in accordance with the exercise of authority delegated to the Assistant Secretary – Indian Affairs by 209 DM 8.
