PUBLIC NOTICE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS MALHEUR EDUCATION SERVICE DISTRICT PROJECT# 24034 Malheur Education Service District is soliciting bids for a new 3,000 square foot facility located at 301 A Street W, Vale, Oregon 97918. Sealed bids for construction will be received until Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 3:00 PM, local prevailing time, at the Malheur Education Service District office located at 363 A Street W, Vale, Oregon 97914. Qualified General Contractors and Subcontractors may obtain access to electronic Bidding Documents by making written requests to the Architect. Such requests shall be directed to Houston Head via email to houston@sz-architects.com, or by mail to Schlager Zimmerman Architects, Attn: Houston Head, P.O. Box 27, Fruitland, Idaho 83619. Bidders who have provided written requests for Bidding Documents will be added to a plan holders list and notified of any Addenda. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 10:00 AM, local prevailing time, at the project site. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. The project number and bid submission deadline date and time must clearly appear on the face of the bid envelope. Bids must be hand delivered by the bid submission deadline. Mailed and electronically transmitted bids will not be accepted. Bids received after the bid submission deadline will not be accepted. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in an amount no less than 5% of the Base Bid. Acceptable forms of Bid guarantee include: certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond issued by a bonding company licensed to do business at the locality of the project as surety on an AIA A310-2010 Bid Bond form.
