OMNI REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Board of Commissioners ("Board") of the Omni Redevelopment District Community Redevelopment Agency ("CRA") will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, July 24th, at 9:30 am or anytime thereafter in the City Commission chambers located at Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133. The CRA Board of Commissioners will consider a resolution authorizing the CRA to enter into an agreement with Ancla Cleaning Services Corp., for continued janitorial services at CRA owned properties, including 1401 N Miami Avenue. The proposed funding, not to exceed $59,000.00 annually for three years, for a portion of the maintenance costs for properties. The resolution also seeks a waiver of competitive bidding procedures pursuant to Section 18-85 and 18-86 of the City of Miami Code. The CRA Board requests all interested parties be present or represented at the meeting and may be heard with respect to any proposition before the CRA Board, in which the Board may take action. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105). Pursuant to Resolution No. CRA-R-25-0031, whenever a scheduled OMNI CRA meeting is cancelled or is not held due to a lack of a quorum or other emergency, a special OMNI CRA meeting will be automatically scheduled for Tuesday immediately following the cancelled meeting. In the event of one of the aforementioned circumstances, the special meeting would be held on July 29th, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. in the City Commission chambers located at Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133. All of the scheduled agenda items from that cancelled meeting shall automatically be scheduled as an agenda item at the special OMNI CRA meeting. The Clerk of the Board shall notify the public of the special meeting that is to take place by placing a notice of the special OMNI CRA meeting at the entrance of City Hall and the City's main administrative building, placing a notice on the OMNI CRA's website, and, if feasible, placing an ad in a newspaper of general circulation before the special meeting on the immediately following Tuesday. There shall be no additional notice by publication required for any such scheduled agenda item that is moved to the special OMNI CRA meeting.
