Advertisement for Bids
Pursuant to Section 143-129 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, sealed proposals endorsed "Nash County Senior Center Expansion (Project No. 2026-002-07-5810)" will be received by Nash County at the County Office Building, Third Floor Commissioners Conference Room, located at 120 West Washington Street, Nashville, NC 27856, until 2:00 P.M., on August 12, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
Bids shall be reviewed by the Owner for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment entering into the construction of the Nash County Senior Center Expansion (Project No. 2026-002-07-5810). Bidders shall be advised of the results. Bids will be received for a Single Prime Contract.
An open Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on July 21, 2025, at 2:00pm at the Nash County Senior Center, Room 112, located at 103 North Alston Street, Nashville, NC, 27856. This meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures and bid forms.
Complete plans and specifications for this project are available free of charge for a Digital Download or for $350.00 (refundable) deposit by cash or certified check for hard copies. Either format can be obtained from Oakley Collier Architects, 109 Candlewood Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27804, (252) 937-2500, or by emailing Ashley Seaman (aseaman@oakleycollier.com) beginning July 14, 2025, during normal office hours.
