INVITATION FOR BIDS City of Benton City PEDESTRIAN CROSSING PROJECT Bid Date: July 30, 2025 INVITATION FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received by the City of Benton City at City Hall, 1009 Dale Avenue, Suite A, Benton City, WA 99320 until 11:00 a.m. (local time), July 30, 2025. Project includes up to 5 pedestrian crossings with solar powered Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons, concrete landings, ADA warning patterns and thermoplastic crosswalks. Availability of Bidding Documents: Copies may be examined at the following locations: Benton City Hall, Tri-City Construction Council, and the Yakima Plan Center. Bid Security: A certified or bank cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, payable to the City of Benton City, or bid bond executed by a licensed bonding company is required with each bid. Rejection of Bids: The City shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding document or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to accept any bid, or to waive minor informalities.
