Notice is hereby given that the Beaufort County Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 5:00 PM in the Arthur Horne Building, 2nd Floor Court Room, Beaufort, to consider the following applications: (Please note Change of Location)
1. Robert & Toni Allridge are requesting a Variance to construct a Retaining Wall within the River Buffer. The property is located at 49 Peninsula Drive, Bluffton. The property acreage is .67acre. The property is zoned Moss Creek Planned Unit Development (PUD). (Deferred from Last Meeting)
2. Phillips Land Management Company, LLC is requesting a Variance to construct a Pool within the River Buffer. The property is located at 34 Myrtle Island Lane, Bluffton. The property acreage is .858 acre. The property is zoned T2-Rural Neighborhood (T2RN).
3. Kevin Mack is requesting a Special Use Permit for Lodging, Short-Term Rental. The property is located at 1159 Seaside Road, St. Helena Island. The property acreage is 2.658 acres. The property is zoned T2-Rural (T2R).
Interested members of the public and adjoining landowners may appear at the public hearing, be heard, and submit evidence and written comments with respect to the application.
